Olivette Hubler Fine Art

Water color is a medium that has long been one of my favorites.  The most influential “teacher” that I have had was a German artist named Wolfgang Tritt.  He was  a visiting artist from Berlin at Hallmark Cards.  Wolfgang was a trained architect and he had the ability to reproduce scenes from Berlin and other German cities after the war when they were sometimes completely demolished by allied forces. This was the way he provided  for food on the table  I loved his style and in return for going to museums in East Berlin and sketching pheasant costumes for him he let me work side by side.  His lessons not involved art but were also about life. They have been apart of my physic ever since,  The quarantine 2020 provided an opportunity for me to one again delve into this medium.
